Además, ocho de sus playas —Nova Mar Bella, Mar Bella, Bogatell, Nova Icària, Barceloneta, Somorrostro, Sant Sebastià y Sant Miquel— fueron galardonadas con la Bandera Azul en el 2016, distinción que concede la Fundación Europea de Educación Ambiental a aquellas playas que destacan por sus condiciones medioambientales y la excelencia de sus instalaciones. En cualquier caso, éste es sólo uno de los aspectos que explican por qué alquilar apartamentos en la playa de Barcelona es sinónimo de calidad de vida.

Ahora bien: si lo tuyo es la cultura, en el Poblenou también encontrarás un buen número de antiguas fábricas restauradas y el Museo Can Framis, de arte contemporáneo. Y eso no es todo: no muy lejos de allí, te aguarda el Museo de Historia de Cataluña, con interesantes exposiciones permanentes y temporales, y desde cuya terraza gozarás de una panorámica incomparable sobre el puerto de Barcelona. Por otro lado, estarás cerca del barrio Gótico y del Born, donde podrás visitar interesantes museos —el de Historia de Barcelona, el Museo Picasso, el Museo Europeo de Arte Moderno, el Born Centro de Cultura y Memoria, etc.— y admirar joyas como la catedral de Barcelona, o la basílica de Santa María del Mar.
Todo ello sin olvidar la excelente oferta gastronómica de otro punto de interés muy próximo: la Barceloneta, un tradicional barrio de pescadores —tiene más de 250 años— que concentra los mejores restaurantes de pescado y marisco de la ciudad. A su vez, las viviendas se hallan muy cerca del Port Olímpic, un referente para los amantes de la buena cocina —sin ir más lejos, da cabida al restaurante Arola, situado en el Hotel Arts y dirigido por el prestigioso chef Sergi Arola—, y con incontables opciones de ocio nocturno, entre las que no falta el Casino de Barcelona.

    We loved the Lugaris apartment in Poblenou. It's directly opposite the beach, a very short walk (~100 meters) from the La Rambla Poblenou where there are sone great restaurants, and a short walk to the metro (~10 minutes) which takes you into central Barcelona.

    The apartment was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. There are several supermarkets nearby if you care to do any of your own cooking.

    We are moving to Barcelona shortly. However, when we want a beach weekend we will book into the Lugaris apartments for a relaxing weekend.

    Excellent option. Very clean and well managed. Have in mind there is no “service” in case of short stay, it is not like hotel service, but it a great option anyway. Big rooms. Well located. Less then 10 minutes walk from metro station.
